What Happened to June? And a Sunday Smorgasboard Linky!

This post is going to be a little bit on the random side, so I decided to link up with Fabulous in First and her Sunday Smorgasbord Linky!

How is it almost July?! June has truly passed me by...My last day of school (with students) was May 30. But, I had training/work in my classroom time until the 13th.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this training...But, it was really good! It was three days long. The first day was the toughest, by far, but then we really got into it! It helped that I had a great group to work with, and I can't wait to teach our unit on plants this Spring!
I think my face says it all! Don't worry! This TOTAL disaster is all cleaned up. We were given time in our classroom (we were given 9 furlough days back...so we were lucky enough to spend some days cleaning/purging...
THAT NEVER EVER HAPPENS. EVER.)
Unfortunately, I have changed grades/classrooms way too much lately. So, I had boxes that I never unpacked!!!! YIKES, I know! But, now, they are all unpacked and I can't wait to share my classrooms pics this year! I can finally share behind my desk. HA!

So, like I said above, the first two weeks of June were still spent at work. The following week, My Molly went to heaven. She was a beautiful, loving, energetic dog and I adored her. She was my baby!

I miss Molly soooo much, but I know she is watching over us and keeping us safe.

A few days after Molly passed away, my grandpa passed away. :( He would have been 87 in July.
My grandpa was such a kind, funny, easy-going, smart man. While growing up, we would either visit my grandparents in California or they would come and visit us in Idaho, in their motor home! I thought that was the coolest thing EVER! I loved their motor home. We would always play games or cards, eat snacks {or as my grandma says, "salties"!} and, of course, chat! It was always so much fun.
As my grandparents got older, the motor home was no longer in the picture, but cards and salties still were! So many fun card game memories!
I also remember my grandpa's sense of humor! He could always make us laugh!!!
He will be missed my so, so many, but I know he is in a better place, probably playing cards!
I love this picture of my grandparents! This was at their 50th Wedding Anniversary...15 years ago! Aren't they just the cutest?!

So, most of June has been spent at training, in my classroom, or grieving. I am hanging in there and ready to share my ideas! I've been working on a few products {one HUGE one that I can't wait to finish and share!!!}. I have about 5 blog posts swirling around in my head and I can't wait to share it all with you!

Here's to a much calmer July!
