February Currently and a SALE!

Yay! It's February! I LOVE February. Hearts. My favorite. Valentine's Day. So much fun! George and Abe! Love them both. Especially, Abe. Oh, and not to mention that there are only 28 days in this month! Yay!

Listening: I love NCIS:Los Angeles. I especially love Chris O'Donnell! Right now, it's a marathon of shows. Love it! Even if I have seen them 2 or 3 times!

Loving: I took tomorrow off. Do you ever just need a day? Well, I told myself I am going to let myself do this. I need it. I rarely get sick, so I don't use many of my days. This year, I need to take some days. I think we've all had those classes that keep us super busy and tire us out..well, this is my year. Enough said.

Thinking: I always forget how much exercising takes my stress away. I need to remember this. I really want to take Zumba classes. I found a cheap gym that has great classes. A few of my co-workers go and the mom of one of my students teaches the classes!!! So, I know if I start, I will have to keep going! I am doing this!

Wanting: We NEED snow! I would even take rain, at this point. There are a few flurries happening, so hopefully there will be more in the morning!

Needing: I really need more energy. I am hoping Zumba classes will help! I also need to stop eating dairy and sugar. I was supposed to stop and didn't. I am just so tired on the weekends. I don't want to be tired anymore.

2 Truths and a Fib: *I ran a marathon in 2011. I trained almost all school year and ran it in June. I loved it. It was a lot of work, but worth it. I would love to run another one someday. *I played Volleyball in Jr. College on a scholarship. Loved it!!! *I do not have 23 students...I have 33! I WISH I had 23!!!

  1. I enjoyed reading your February Currently and I must say OMG 33 students! How do you do it!? I'm such a slacker when it comes to exercising, I hope to get some motivation. Have a great day tomorrow and enjoy your day off!:)

  2. Wow! 33 students!!! I'm flat out with 25 kindergarten students!!! I hope you have a full time aide :) I wish it snowed here - no chance of that I'm afraid (I live in Queensland, Australia).

  3. Good for you for claiming a day for yourself! I'm like you - I hardly ever need to take a day off. But sometimes, you just need a "mental health" day. I think because it's so much work to prepare for a sub, we tend not to do it. But we need to. It makes us better for our students when we return. And with 33 little ones in your room, you need some breathing room now and again!

  4. 33 kiddos??!?! That's crazy talk. I don't know how you survive! I thought 28 was bad... Zumba is my absolute favorite! I definitely think it helps give me more energy. I try and work out right after school, and it gives me the extra boost to make it through the night. Hope you enjoyed your day off! :)
