Vacation, Monday Made It and Two Giveaways!

Oh.My.Goodness! I am soooooooooo sorry I haven't blogged in what feels like FOrEveR!! I drove to Idaho (with my doggies!) and spent time with my wonderful family! It was so nice to just visit, go to the lake, eat, and relax! Here is how our trip began!

They were such good little, fur babies, but two days in a car is a long trip! We were all ready to be done! LOL!

One of the first days there, we were sitting by the water! Of course, I had to do some reading!

Lake Pend Oreille (pronounced pond er ay)

Sitting by the lake, reading magazines (and teacher books, of course!), and chatting is soooo relaxing to me! Loved it!

Lunch with my sisters and their families!

My mom and dad, sitting on the deck after dinner!
I try and visit my family every summer! Summer is the best time to visit Idaho and my hometown! It's so beautiful and relaxing! I can't wait to go back!!!!

Now, to Monday Made It! I am linking up with 4th Grade Frolics and Monday Made It!

My first project *just* might be my very FAVORITE project of the summer! I just love it!!! I have been seeing the adorable picture frames or decorated number to hold for the "First Day of School" picture all over Pinterest and Instagram! I joined in, making it to match my classroom's colors!

First, I went to Hobby Lobby and searched for a frame...I didn't find one I liked that was reasonably priced...So, I decided to get a matte (mat) instead! Much cheaper!!I also grabbed some of the large, kinda wooden glitter letters.

I didn't like the random, white edges on the frame...so I covered them with washi tape!!! So much better!!!

I also grabbed some of the cute, small glitter letter stickers!

What do you think?!! I really do love it!! I can't wait to take pics of my little ones, using this frame! Yep, I'm teaching 1st Grade this year and I am super excited!
My second project is still a work in progress! I still have more to finish! But, here's a little peek!
So, I wanted to make my supply cans cute, but I also wanted to label them... So, I made these covers, laminated them, and then used spray glue to attach them to the can! Awesomeness! I still have more to make. Although spray glue works well, you pretty much have to use it outside unless you want to turn all of your pilot lights off..um, no thanks. So, I am doing a few at a time!

You can see the cans in this picture! Here are a few more projects that I have been working on! My alphabet line is not in my store yet...I realized that because I am teaching 1st Grade this year, I should really add the words to the pics!

My Word Wall is in my TpT Store! I absolutely love it! I can't wait to share the pics of it up in my classroom! Soooooooo cute!! :)
